The 14th Amendment guarantees Americans equal protection under the law and access to due process and how cases are reviewed with a standard of “strict scrutiny.” Then, we’ll discuss exactly what that means in the cases (ha, get it) of racial and gender equality. Lastly, we’ll talk about the major Supreme Court cases that have shaped these aspects of our law today.
