During the 20th Century, technology changed the way we live, the way we fight, and the way we survive. The shifts in technological change were more rapid in this time than in any other time in history. Through the World Wars, weaponry and battle transportation improved to a degree that made war itself no longer feasible because of nuclear weapons. There were also massive advancements in medicine and vaccinations that saved millions of lives. Shifts in public transportation and communication led to a more globally connected economy and culture. And finally, there were huge shifts in food production through the Green Revolution that led to a massive population growth around the world.
