In this stream we examined the question of who "started" the Cold War, questioning the perspective commonly presented in the American textbooks. We then examined early pivotal Cold War events; Churchhill's Iron Curtain Speech, the Berlin Blockade, and the Creation of Military Alliances. Students were asked to consider the perspectives in documents often considered to be definitive.
