Art is present in advertising in the form of visual imagery, typography, digital art and art direction, all used to create engaging and memorable ads (des publications) that effectively convey a message or concept related to the product or service being advertised.

Art plays an important role in many holidays and traditions around the world. One of the most common ways art is used during holidays is through the creation of decorations. In the case of French customs, Bastille Day, a famous French tradition, involves parades and other celebrations featuring floats decorated with various forms of art, such as sculptures and paintings, depicting scenes from French history and culture. Is there a cultural custom that involves art that is particularly special to you? Has there ever been a tradition in which you've participated that evoked a certain artistic sense or feeling?
